We attribute this feat to traditional Shotokan karate handed down to us by the founder Gichin Funakoshi. Our school is a member of Japanese Shotokan Karate Association of Japan headed by Abe Sensei of Japan. Hanshi is recognized by Abe Sensei as one of the highest ranking black belts in the United States.
